Hector Ledesma

A fixture on the local sports scene for 12 years and a proud native San Antonian, Hector is thrilled to serve as Sports 2Nite’s Sports Director! A graduate of Central Catholic and of Syracuse University, there’s very little Hector hasn’t done professionally since 2005. As a TV anchor and reporter, he’s a two-time state-wide winner of the Texas AP award for “Best Sports Story.” He also won first place for “Best Sports Feature” in the Houston Press Club’s Lone Star Awards, has twice been nominated for a Lone Star Emmy, and has received several other honors from the Texas AP.

Jill Jelnick

A Southern California native, Jill Jelnick grew up outdoors and always on a court, field, or diamond. After receiving an athletic scholarship, Jill traveled from the west coast to the east coast to play Div. I softball at East Carolina University. Once her collegiate career was over, she turned her focus to her other passion: sports broadcasting. Jill began as a producer/reporter at WNCT in Greenville, NC, before moving to Chattanooga, TN to become the weekend sports anchor at WRCB. Jill joined the Sports2Nite team in May of 2018, and has quickly fallen in love with the Alamo City.

Brooke Shoemaker

Brooke Shoemaker was born in Waukegan, Illinois, but spent time growing up in multiple locations, including Ohio, Illinois, Melbourne (Australia), and Texas. Brooke now considers herself a Texan, having lived in the Central Texas area for the past eight years. Brooke started her career with Quarter Moon Productions in July 2017. She has contributed to The Ticket Live, and has been on air for News and Weather Briefs for KCWX and Corpus Christi’s, Fox38 KUQI.

Mike Lefko

Mike Lefko joins QMP after serving four years as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for the women’s basketball and baseball programs at the University of South Florida. In addition to those primary responsibilities Lefko also shot and produced video features for the athletics department website. Before USF, Lefko worked as a broadcast producer for IMG College, creating audio features and developing formats to use for the football and basketball radio broadcasts of IMG schools in the ACC and served as the studio host for Georgia Tech football and basketball.
